In June 2010 the main contractors working in the former Ladies Common Room in the Royal College building, Strathclyde University lifted carpet tiles and discovered an old hardwood floor under
layers of contact adhesive and self levelling compound. Following discussions with the architect we were called in and given the job of restoring the floor below to its original glory.
Four days later and the floor has been finished with Junckers Baseprime and 3 coats of Junckers HP Commercial lacquer.
August 2010 and we're back in the Royal College at Strathclyde University. This time we've been tasked with restoring the floor below in a technicians workshop.
On this occasion we finished it with one coat of Junckers Baseprime and 3 coats of Buzz Duo, (by Blanchon), another 2-pack polyurethane floor lacquer.
